“Too Human”, the performing name for Roger and Ellen Schwartz, will appear August 29 at 4pm. This will be a return visit by the pair following an April 2007 performance to an enthusiastic audience as part of that year’s Winter/Spring entertainment series. “Have a Jazzy/Bluesy Feeling’ is the message contained in the invitation. Roger and Ellen are native New Yorkers and are songwriters as well as performers who both play and sing. Multi-talented best describes the pair who will be presenting songs they have created for such familiar names as Pat Benetar, Anne Murray, Martha Davis, Nancy Wilson and others as well as breezy, jazzy toe-tapping favorites from the All-American Songbook.

The Western Massachusetts Center for Healthy Communities will be hosting a training on work plan development for the new Mass Youth Against Tobacco (MYAT) mini-grants. We are interested in helping Western Massachusetts organizations and agencies being successful in their applications. There are three different opportunites for youth to take a lead on tobacco prevention in their communities.
