Western Mass Dual Diagnosis Task Force A collaborative work group whose mission is to improve the access and quality of mental health and substance abuse treatment services. Co-sponsored by the Western Mass Regional Offices of the Department of Mental Health, Department of Public Health-Bureau of Substance Abuse Services, and the Massachusetts Behavioral Health Partnership. Mission: To improve access to integrated dual diagnosis treatment in order to address the needs of dually diagnosed individuals. This is accomplished by ensuring maximum use of available resources, advocating for needed programs and resources, providing case consultation, and facilitating education on the topic of dual diagnosis. Meetings are held at 489 whitney Avenue, 3rd floor , Holyoke, Ma. on the 2nd Monday of the month from 1 to 2:30 p.m.

They develop policy, advise on program direction, address specific issues and serve as the primary liaison between the City and local industry. The hard work and valuable insights of this group make a significant contribution to continued economic growth in Holyoke.
